Charisms

Faith:  Exceptional trust in the love, power, and provision of God and remarkable freedom to act on this trust.

Helps:  Offering my talents and charisms to enable another person to serve God and people more effectively.

Leadership:  Sharing a compelling vision with others that draws them to work together to make the vision a reality.

Sacristans are responsible for preparing the church for Mass and special liturgies.  They ensure that all the necessary items are available and in their proper place before and after each Mass.

Summary of Responsibilities:

• Preparation of the gifts of bread and wine
• Preparation of the Altar before and after Mass

Qualifications:

• Ability and willingness to serve
• Attend training (once, in the beginning, then only as needed)
• Available to serve once every 4-5 weeks
