Hospitality:  Warmly welcoming and caring for those in need of food, shelter, and friendship.

Mercy:  Practical deeds of compassion that comforts those who suffer and help them experience God's love.

Service:  Seeing obstacles that keep good things from happening and doing whatever it takes myself to remove them.

Wisdom:  Insight that comes up with creative solutions to specific problems and enables others to make good decisions.

Providing hospitable assistance to those who arrive for Sunday Masses, Holy Days and other occasions allows us to experience how very much God wants us to come together and to worship Him. The warmth and hospitality before, during, and following Mass is a sign of our welcoming stance with all community members. Ushers assist in seating parishioners, perform a count of parishioners, prepare hosts for Eucharist, distribute and gather collection baskets and offerings, direct parishioners during Communion and distribute bulletins after Mass.
