Winter Weather Cancellation Policy

Elementary Faith Formation serves families with children from 3 years old to 5th grade.  Using a classroom setting, volunteers teach our youngest parishioners the basic fundamentals of our faith, assisting families in their mission to guide our children as images of God.

If you are currently registered as a parishioner at Our Lady of Angels, you should have received a registration packet in the mail with details about the upcoming year. Registration is a bit different this year, with details as follows:

Online Registration: All registration will now be conducted online! Please click the red button on the home page of the OLA website, choose the correct program for your child's age, and sign up through our online system. If your registration is successful, you will receive a confirmation email.

Pre-Registration: Open now through May 19th for children of adults who sign up to volunteer as catechists for any of our faith formation programs: Preschool, Elementary, Middle or High School.

Registration: Opens May 20th at 9:00 a.m. through June 19th for all parishioners and children who were registered in OLA faith formation in 2012-2013 as well as children of adults who sign up as catechists.

Open Registration: Begins June 20th for all parishioners as well as non-parishioners.

Classes begin the week of September 8, 2013.

Fees for classes this year are $85 with a $255 family maximum. These fees include all children enrolled in faith formation programs at Our Lady of Angels: preschool, elementary, middle school, and high school. Of course, no child will be turned away due to financial need. Scholarships are available and are fully confidential.

The number of classes we can offer is directly related to the available classroom space. Please support our fundraising efforts to build out the second floor of the Education and Formation Building. Once the second floor is finished out, we will have almost twice the current classroom space and will be able to expand our elementary faith formation program significantly. Thank you for your support as we begin our parish's next expansion project. We have the need for the space right now - we need your financial support in order to minister to our growing parish.
